Formation

The Subdirectorate General of the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute, by Royal Decree 257/2012, of 27 January, which develops the basic organisational structure of the Ministry of Culture, is entrusted, among other functions, with the training of technicians and specialists in the conservation and restoration of the immovable and movable properties that make up this heritage.

This work is carried out in the Institute through a twofold approach. On the one hand, the implementation of various training activities to create a forum for the exchange of knowledge and debate on the most current issues in the field of Cultural Heritage. On the other hand, through scholarship programs and individualized internships for undergraduate, graduate and recent graduates.
